Federal Rebates

Pre-Owned E-Vehicles

Federal Tax Credits for Pre-owned Plug-in Electric and Fuel Cell Vehicles

  • The credit equals 30% percent of the sale price up to a maximum credit of $4,000.
New Clean Vehicles

Credits for new clean vehicles purchased in 2023 or after

  • Rebates up to $7,500
  • To qualify, you must:
    • Buy it for your own use, not for resale
    • Use it primarily in the U.S.
    • In addition, your modified adjusted gross income (AGI) may not exceed:
    • $300,000 for married couples filing jointly 
    • $225,000 for heads of households
    • $150,000 for all other filers
Pre-2023 Electric/Hybrid Vehicles

Federal Tax Credits for New All-Electric and Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles Purchased Before 2023

  • The credit amount will vary based on the capacity of the battery used to power the vehicle
  • Vehicles purchased new from 2010 through 2022 may be eligible for a federal income tax credit of up to $7,500
For Homeowners: Appliances

Federal Tax Credits for Energy Efficiency

  • Save 30% up to $2,000 on Costs of Upgrading to Heat Pump Technology
  • Save 30% up to $1,200 on Energy Efficiency Home Improvements

For Homeowners

Induction Stove

  • Get up to $250 cash back on your induction range or cooktop upgrade.

Insulation

  • Attic Insulation – $0.75/ft² (not to exceed $1,000 per home)
  • Wall Insulation – $0.70/ft² (not to exceed $1,000 per home)
  • Combustion Appliance Safety (CAS) test-out – $100 bonus rebate

Air Sealing

  • Air Sealing – $150
  • Combustion Appliance Safety (CAS) test-out – $100 bonus rebate

Duct Replacement

  • Duct Replacement ≤ 5% total leakage – $500
  • Combustion Appliance Safety (CAS) test-out – $100 bonus rebate 

Heat Pump Dryers

  • High-Efficiency Heat Pump Dryer – $250

Air Conditioning

  • High-efficiency split central air conditioner ≥ 17 SEER or SEER216 – $200
  • High-efficiency packaged central air conditioner ≥ 16 SEER – $200
  • Combustion Appliance Safety (CAS) test-out – $100 bonus rebate

Furnaces

  • High-Efficiency Furnace – $300

Water Upgrades Save

Home Energy Source

  • There is a cost for an HES report and score for your home. But your final cost could be minimal — or zero —  after the $200 rebate.
