The Clean Air Act requires the EPA to set national ambient air quality standards for 6 common air pollutants. These pollutants are found all over the US and can harm your health.

Also there's a gas composed of three oxygen atoms, and is a harmful air pollutant. Harmful effects including: coughing, inflammatory and damage Airways, aggravate lung diseases such as asthma, emphysema

Lead Colin toxic metal, often emit from aircraft engines, waste incinerators, and smelters. Harmful effects: damages nervous, immune, reproductive systems; Behavior problems, learning defects, lower IQ.

Mixture of solid particles and liquid droplets found in the air, includes dust, dirt soot, smoke. Harmful effects: Aggravate asthma difficulty breathing, decrease lung function, and irregular heartbeat.

Greenhouse gas, emitted from industrial activities for example burning of fossil fuels, extracting metals, maintaining power plants. Harmful effects: difficulty breathing, harms human respiratory system.

A colorless, odorless gas. Released from fossil fuels is burned for vehicles and machinery. Harmful effects: dizziness, confusion, unconsciousness, death.

Greenhouse gas. Comes from the burning of fossil fuels and emissions from vehicles. Harmful effects: Irritates airways, aggravates several respiratory diseases, particularly asthma.
