About the Gas-Powered Leaf Blower Ban

What: Starting in 2024, California is enacting a statewide ban on the sale of new gasoline-powered landscaping equipment. The electrification of landscaping equipment protects our air, health, and the environment with the additional benefit of reducing noise pollution.

Why: Read more here for the latest study on why it’s time we make the switch.

How: March 2024, H.R. 6013, Promoting Reduction of Emissions through Landscaping Equipment Act is introduced to help local small businesses make the transition.

The above video was put together by our interns David, Lucie, and Ian.
